Privacy Policy

The short version. Your circles are visible only to you. We store what you enter, we show it to nobody else, we don't sell or share it with advertisers, and you can export or delete everything yourself from inside the app (Data & consent). The one thing that ever leaves your account is a report you choose to send — and the page tells you exactly what it contains before you send it.

What we store

Your Google identity — name, email address, and account ID, used to sign you in and to keep your data yours. We never see your Google password.
Your circles — the people you add: names you give them, an optional email address, a personality type, and (when someone takes the assessment) five dimension scores. This can include information about people who do not have an account. You are responsible for having a reasonable basis to record it — for family, friends, teams and clients who know you, that is normally just… knowing them. Anyone can ask you, or us, to remove their entry.
Invite results — when someone takes an assessment from your link, we store their name, type and five scores, addressed to your inbox — and only after they explicitly choose to send it. Never their individual answers — those are discarded at scoring and do not travel, which the assessment page states.
Shared report snapshots — a report you share by link is stored as a snapshot so the link works. Links expire after 15 days automatically and you can revoke one sooner (Data & consent).
Error reports — if a page crashes, we record the page path, the error message, and the browser version so we can fix it. No roster data and no identity ride along.

Where it lives, who can read it

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), on Google's US infrastructure, protected by database security rules that restrict every record to the account that created it. Attune shares its backend with its sibling app Personality Tracker (same operator, same database, same rules) — signing into either with the same Google account shows the same circles. Shared report links are the deliberate exception: anyone holding the link can read that one snapshot until it expires or you revoke it — that is what a share link is, and the app says so before you create one.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models. There is no analytics tracker on the app pages.

Email

The app sends email only when you press a button that says it will: inviting someone to an assessment, or sending a report. Invitee email addresses are optional, used to deliver that one message, and stored only if you save them on a person's card. Replies go to you, not us.

Export and deletion

In the app, Data & consent: Download my data gives you everything in one JSON file; Delete my account permanently removes your profile, your circles, your invites, incoming results and your sign-in — not a deactivation, a deletion. Shared links created on another device that we cannot enumerate expire on their own within 15 days.

Age

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (and older where your country sets a higher age of digital consent — 16 in parts of the EU). Adding a child to your circle as a parent or guardian is your call as their parent; giving a child their own account is not supported.

What this product is not

The questionnaire is our own and is not an academically validated instrument. Results are for insight and conversation — never for hiring, firing, promotion, pay or any other consequential decision about a person, and never a clinical assessment. This is stated on every result page as well.
